Hi Flip, in my last box I got this Ordinary Aloe 2% and NAG 2% solution. It is a water-based serum that you use to help with post acne marks, reduce the appearance of pores, improve your skin barrier, and just a calm irritated skin. It does have lactic acid listed in the ingredients so I was using it alone with a hyaluronic acid on top of it. It is a very watery serum so it's super thin. I use it right after my toner and then I'll layer my serums or moisturizers on top of it. If you have acne prone skin or skin that tends to be irritable at times, this is a great serum to try out. It feels amazing on the skin and I'll just show you quickly how watery it is. Like look at that. But it feels really nice on the skin and if you were looking at this, worth checking out.

Today I'm reviewing the Ordinary Aloe and NAG 2% Soothing Serum. This is for butmish prone skin. I actually got it for free with my last order but I'm going to give my honest review. So so far I am liking it. I'm having a lot of breakouts in my cheek area and also a little bit on my chin. So what I've been doing is just applying this anywhere that I see I'm getting a breakout and it's really good because it's been drying out the pimples before they actually form into huge cysts. My pore size has shrunk significantly. The texture has definitely improved. If you go back to my very first video which I believe was like a Bohemian Reaps moisturizer you can noticeably see how bad my texture was. Even with my makeup on you can definitely see the texture of my skin. So this has been helping a lot. I'm going to say just go and buy it. It's worth a try. I am going to be updating you guys throughout the month to let you guys know how my skin is doing.

After moisturizing, I go in with the Ordinary Mandelic Acid. I love Ordinary products. They are cruelty-free. They are budget-friendly. The Mandelic Acid targets textural irregularities, uneven skin tone, and fine lines and wrinkles. This leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and gives me a nice glow.

This mandelic acid is a great exfoliant for really sensitive skin. Due to its molecular weight, it penetrates the skin and is lower than other AHAs, that's why it can be gentler. It also has hyaluronic acid, so it can prevent dryness. It's helpful with acne and hyperpigmentation too.

If this, this, or this is too strong for you, try this. Mandelic acid provides more gentle exfoliation compared to these products, especially this one. You all know about it, I believe it's super viral, but I use it too sometimes. But mandelic acid's molecules are way bigger and they exfoliate slower. It gives you good results but works more gentle and it's more slow, but more safe. You can easily pair it with vitamin C or my favorite niacinamide, but don't mix it with other acids and retinols and retinoids.
