Oh my god, can I say tea? Yeah I wanna give you your flowers and some champagne

If you have greasy and oily skin like me, this product is perfect for you. This is by Benefit Cosmetics and you open it up and you'll see this powder here. But the pressed powder is mattifying and that's what it's for. So let me show you. You want to dip your brush in a little bit. I'm going to do this part right here, also my nose right here, and it really just mattifies the places you want to keep controlled.

Do you struggle with your makeup creasing your eye area? Because I know I so do. And this is amazing. I believe primers are such a necessity when you're doing your makeup. You have to apply a primer to make sure everything stays. Just like when you apply paint, you apply the primer to make sure that it stays. Same thing you do with your face. This one is for your eyes. So it's like an eyeshadow primer. It comes in this neutral color. This is how it looks on my skin. It looks a little darker than my skin, but it gives a nice base for eyeshadow. So I actually really love it. And it's very smooth and it just spreads very nicely. And it doesn't leave blotchiness or anything like that. And it actually helps really well with keeping your makeup on through the day. When I put this on the past few days, I kept my makeup on the whole time. No creases. And it was just a great product.

So today I'm trying this pressed translucent powder by The Balm. It's called Sexy Mama. And to be completely honest with y'all, I was not a big fan of this one. I don't know what it is. I just didn't like it. But y'all let me know what you think.

This is the anti-shine translucent powder by the Balm Cosmetics. Typically I really like this brand, I actually own a couple of their products, but this one specifically is not my favorite for a couple of reasons. One, for $20 I think that you could find something that works a little bit better. I put this on in the morning and then find that I need to reapply it about halfway through the day. And then two, the product doesn't stick onto the brush very well. It takes a little bit of effort to get anything on there at all, which I think makes you go through your product really fast. So if you are looking for a new translucent powder, I would probably recommend something else.

I absolutely have to set my face down with powder, especially in the summer, and the balm came out with Sexy Mama Translucent Setting Powder, so I'm going to be setting my face down with this. Just taking a fluffy brush and patting that into the skin. You never want to rub, because then it's just going to move your foundation. I definitely get oily in my T-zone, and this totally just mattified it. Okay, this is awesome, especially for summer. It's super tiny, it's really cute. You can throw it in your purse with a little brush and bring it on the go with you. I feel like this is definitely going to be a staple for summer.
