If you are a mom and you have not yet made your own playdough, I will be the first to tell you that you are missing out. And the dough project makes it so easy. All you need to have on hand is water and oil. Then you bake it like a pancake for one minute, flip it for another 5 seconds and then it's ready to go. Literally the softest playdough ever and my son could not get enough of it.

Today my son and I are trying this playdough from The Dough Project. Basically, it's supposed to be an organic, all-natural version of playdough that's safe for kids to play with and non-toxic. First thing I noticed when looking at the box with all these ingredients minus the chlorophyll are things that I personally keep in my kitchen. Maybe not everybody does, but these are really easy ingredients to get a hold of. And then after mixing it together per the instructions with water and oil and then cooking it, I felt like in comparison to other homemade like DIY playdoughs I've done at home with my son, I really didn't love the consistency of this one if we're being honest. And again, these are all ingredients that I personally keep in my kitchen or anyone could get access to so I really don't think I would re-buy.
