There was a time in the ‘90s when darkness was all the rage and pink had a bad rep. Enter Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson. Unimpressed and distressed by the too-serious-state of the cosmetics industry, they longed to start a company that brought back unapologetic glamour and femininity. Inspired by a love of Paris, unabashed girliness and the transformative power of cosmetics, they created Too Faced, a boutique brand with big dreams. Today, Too Faced has grown into a leader within the beauty industry, creating innovative cruelty-free cosmetics that women love to wear.

With Jeremy as CEO/Action Man and Jerrod as Chief Creative Officer/Dreamer, their rebellious spirit, visionary focus and unexpected humor define the brand to this day.


ABOUT THE FOUNDERS

Too Faced Co-Founders, Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson, got their start behind the department store makeup counter. Jerrod worked at the Estée Lauder counter and Jeremy also spent time at Estee Lauder, as well as Armani and Chanel. Working one-on-one with clients allowed both of them to quickly discover the transformative power makeup had on women. Their vision was to create a makeup line that would celebrate individuality and inject joy back into an industry that had become rigidly led by rules, not fun. With a credit card, a laser-like focus, and a dream to celebrate and empower women, Too Faced was born in 1998.

Today, Jeremy is still initiating new business strategies while Jerrod is continuously inspired to create innovative new products. Too Faced is sold in more than 30 countries and is one of the top-selling brands everywhere it is sold.

Too Faced

The packaging first off is stunning. It's like this copper color and check this out magnetic. I got shade triple fudge. So pretty first off it smells incredible, but this is like such a cool applicator. Do you see how it's in the shape of a heart? So it says to line your lips with the tip of the heart. So we're going to do that. Ooh, it's so pigmented. Mm-hmm. Okay, gorgeous. This is like not even applying it all the way. This is just lining them. Pretty. If I wanted a bolder look, I'm going to try to actually fill it in. Gorgeous.

Trying out the Too Faced Triple Fudge lipstick that I got. It looks darker than it did in the picture. Smells good. Tastes good. Very dark. Pretty though. Triple Fudge.

I just mixed and matched to make the most beautiful lip color I've probably ever had. Both of them are Too Faced. I started with the Cocoa Bold in Triple Fudge. I actually padded that off with a tissue just a little bit and then put the Too Faced lip injection on top. I am obsessed.

So I just posted about this Tower 28 lip jelly and how I was wearing it over a lip liner. Well, let me tell you about the lip liner I'm wearing it over. It's this Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Liner. It's the shade Post-Op Pink and it's just a nude color and these really do feel like a lip injection. I feel the stinging. I do feel like my lips are a little bit plumper because they look different than they usually do. It's not the lip jelly because I've used that again and again and they do give kind of a full effect because they're so shiny but it's definitely this lip liner. This is, it has a little bit of a scent. It is plumping and it does sting the lips a little bit just like the rest of their lip products do. I have a high tolerance for them and I really like it. I have this and I have a different shade. I recommend them for sure.

Okay, I love Too Faced and I love their lip injection products. I had no idea that they had a liner, so when I saw that, I had to try it out. So I tried the shade Hot and Spicy. I learned it was a clicker, not a twist bottom, which is nice. That means you need no sharpener. So I used a Glow Girl Cosmetics lipstick that I reviewed in another video. There I am with the liner. So I really like the way that this liner went on. It was easy to blend, kind of smooth out. You can see it kind of build on the bottom. It was more of like an ombre effect. And then I love using it for the top because it really defines your top lip, as you can see there. So I also used a plumping gloss, just a really kind of translucent one on top to blend everything together. And there you go. You can see the final product. So hopefully you guys liked it. Hopefully you got some ideas, but I would definitely recommend and I love the color.

first of all, it comes in a clicker. Oh my gosh, this is so pretty and this is the color Hot and Spicy and then let me show you guys what it looks like with the gloss on top. This is ultimate plumping and just a really gorgeous color. I love these lip liners. I love this color and the plump effect that it has. These are awesome. I'm super excited that they came out with a plumping lip liner so check it out. It's definitely worth a try. So I didn't realize this but these are long wearing too. Yeah, these are pretty budge proof.

Hey guys, today I'm going to be comparing the Too Faced lip injection lip liner and the Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk lip liner. I said this in a different video, but I said these shades are very similar and I think that they're dupes. Okay, here's what it looks like just in the open. You can see that they're super similar colors. Personally, I like the Charlotte Tilbury point better than this, but this lip liner? So good. Let me do one side with this one. And then the other side with this one. Okay. I would say the Charlotte Tilbury is a little more pink. This one is a little less pink, but it's still pink. I personally prefer the Too Faced one because it is lip plumping, so it makes your lips look bigger. To stay on trend, we're going to put on the Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm.

I've been using that Too Faced lip plumping lip liner for so long. I brought it on vacation with me. This color is an exact dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk. It is so similar. It's in the shade Post-Op Pink. Not only is it cheaper, but it also plumps your lips, so I think it's so much better. I just align, over-align a little bit. Like that. You can already feel the tingling. Then I take, usually I use a lip gloss, but I'm using a lip balm today because my lips are kind of dry. Just the Elf New Squeeze Me Lip Balm. Just like that. It looks so natural.

Okay, I keep coming back to this lip liner, like I have so many different ones that I've tried out. This one just looks so good on my lips. I don't put a lot. I usually just put it on the top of my lips. I don't even touch the bottom because it doesn't need it right now. And I take any gloss. Okay, I'm going to use this Yummy Gloss by CoverGirl. This smells so good. And then, the Clinique Black Honey. This is the key. You darken up. Such a cute, natural lip. I love it, but you need this lip liner.

Plumping lip liner? Yes, it exists! Color Puffy Nude by Too Faced. It has dusty pink color, very natural and matches my lips perfectly. And two minutes after? Wow, look at that! I think my lips never looked as plumped. And that's how it looks with the lip gloss. I love it. Give it a try.

So I don't know if you can tell but my lips are burning and they're huge. I'm gonna actually take it off and see I kind of like that like bee-stung look so sometimes when you take off these lip plumpers it'll leave your lips with like the perfect blood rush pink color and plump still so I'm gonna try that out. I was right I love the color of my lips right now and how plump they look and I just took off the plumper. So you could literally do this and then put like a moisturizer on your lips if you don't like the feel of the plumper on your lips which I think I don't either I don't like it long term I just like it to give the effect but yeah it looks really pretty. It looks like I just got my lips injected hence the name.

just got the new Too Faced lip injection lip liners. They are Extreme Lip Shaper in Puffy Nude and Hot and Spicy. Let me show you what these guys look like on. And here is on the left we have the Puffy Nude and on the right is the Hot and Spicy. So the Puffy Nude kind of washes me out a little bit but yeah it looks a lot better with the gloss. It's a really pretty nude. The color of the gloss is the Too Faced lip injection called Wifey for Lifey that I added and that just is the perfect combo.

Candy, in her video review, raves about the Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Liner in the shade Post-Op Pink. She mentions that it gives her lips a plumper appearance and attributes the effect to the lip liner rather than the lip jelly she was wearing over it.
