I mixed my glow serum with my foundation and I really loved the results so I'll show you how to do it. I'm using the Pat McGrath foundation just because it's very light and I'm going for a natural look today, but you can use any foundation you want. Then I mixed in the glow serum from Oukvia. I'm not really sure if that's how you pronounce it, but I tried. Applied it onto my face with my fingers. I was a little bit worried that the two had separated and it was going to end badly. While I was blending it in with my beauty blender, I noticed I had lost just a little bit of coverage, but that glow was shining through really nice and I think it gave me a nice, natural, healthy glow to my skin.

So let's try out this glow serum from, again, I can't pronounce their name. Now the mushroom serum had lactic acid in it and so does this. So let's see what this is all about. This is supposed to give your skin a nice, super glowy look to it. I haven't put it on yet, but it's definitely glowy. So let's do, oh yeah. That's super glowy. I was interested to try this just because, like I said, I don't like to wear a lot of makeup, but I like to look nice without looking too overdone. It glides on really smooth. It feels super nice. It's not sticky at all because I don't like sticky stuff on my face. It definitely gave me a glow. So far, I'm really liking this company and what I see from them. I've actually been meaning to make my own chaga skin cream thanks to my little healing mushroom book that I've shown you guys before. This is a mushroom serum from these guys. I'm sorry I can't pronounce the name. I don't want to butcher it. Aside from just the chaga mushrooms that I was going to make for my own DIY skin care at home, this one actually has chaga, cordyceps, reishi, maitake, shitake, and tremelia. Not heard of tremelia yet, so I'm going to look into that more. And there's also lactic acid in here. This is the first time that I'm trying this, so let's see how it looks, how it feels. First impressions, here we go. Oh goodness. It's runny like a serum, but it looks like a lotion. In case you were wondering, it smells nice. But I don't see anything in the ingredients list that would qualify as a fragrance. There's nothing listed as fragrance, there's no essential oils, so it's just natural stuff you're smelling. It dried down really fast, but it feels really nice on the skin. And I have to appreciate this with the bottle that it comes with, a little cap so you can secure it back closed. All the dry skin ladies, y'all need this product. Before I used this product, I couldn't even wear foundation because my skin would just flake and it would look like I had windburn or something. This product has changed the game with my skincare. I put this on before my foundation. It's the Super Mushroom Facial Emulsion by Oukviate. It does have a weird smell to it, but honestly, I love it. When I put it on, it makes my skin glow and it helps with the sensitivity. It helps with redness, it helps with dryness, and it helps with the flakiness. I just really recommend it for all y'all girls that have issues with that. Buy it. You will not regret it. I promise.

So I've been using this Super Mushroom Emulsion off and on, but for the last week I've been using it consistently every single morning. And I do have to say, I love how it makes my skin look. Mushrooms are great for the skin. There is also a tad bit of lactic acid in here as well. Along my skincare journey I've learned what ingredients work for my skin and what don't. And this one definitely has all the ingredients that I know work for my skin. I also love supporting small brands and this is a small little brand. I think they are based out of France. I'm not sure, don't quote me on that. Another good little side note is each bottle that these guys sell, everything goes to a different company.
