Now we know instant coffee has often received a bad rap for lacking that complex flavor, the aromas, but let me tell you today's instant coffee has come a long way. So today I'm using the Waka instant coffee. It comes in a convenient packaging that you can even take on trips while traveling without having to worry if there's no coffee machine or an espresso machine. The other nice thing about this brand is that it's a coffee with a cause. It donates clean water efforts in Africa, Asia, and South America. So whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just a newbie, this is for you.

All right, you gotta hear me out on instant coffee. Now, some mornings just start way too early, and honestly, the last thing I feel like doing is brewing and waiting for a pot of coffee. I just don't feel like it. That's where Waka Coffee comes in. This stuff is instant, and the one I got is dark roast and Ethiopian. It's 100% Arabica beans that have been freeze-dried, and you simply add hot water to it. Now, like most other instant coffees, all you have to do here is stir, but the difference is that with other instant coffees, you don't get to choose your roast or your beans, and here you do. This particular one has a caramel finish and slightly smoky notes. I like to add frothed canned coconut milk to mine. Honestly, it makes the dreamiest, creamiest latte. Don't get the cartons, get the cans. It makes such a difference. And enjoy this easy, breezy start to your morning. It doesn't sacrifice on taste, but you get a lot more time for the good stuff.

Okay guys, so this is the Waka instant coffee and this stuff was way better than I thought it was going to be. So good, I even drank it without cream which was so impressive to me. So good for travel, I'm a flight attendant, I brought it with me on a trip and it was so good to drink on the plane. They even give money to support clean water initiatives in Africa, Asia and South America. Great brand, totally recommend.

I was a little unsure of how this coffee was gonna be, but it is so good. The butterscotch flavor is amazing. It has little notes of caramel in there and I love that it comes in this like resealable package so I can just seal it back up without having to put it into another container. Nice and easy on-the-go package that's like good travel size too. So I will definitely be taking with this with me on trips for easy making coffee.

So my Waka coffee came in a couple days ago. This is instant coffee. I got the decaf one of course because I'm an anxious queen. And I was really excited about this because this was actually vanilla flavored. The instructions say to add two teaspoons and some water. This has no sugar in it so I did add some stevia and oh my god. You know when something is too good that you have to do a second, third, fourth take? That's exactly what happened here. And the fact that it's so convenient. Do you know how hard it was for me to wait till I got upstairs to finish drinking this coffee? This is really good. Decaf could be really tricky because it could sometimes taste too bland. And it doesn't come in any kind of flavor because it's decaf. And apparently if you're decaf you're not rewarded with good things. But this right here. I'm ordering another one for sure. Oh so good.

This was one of my freebies that I got from Flip. What I really like about this one, I like vanilla. It's quick because it's instant but you can really just mix it with cold water and you don't even need to use as much as they say to use. They say two teaspoons. I used maybe one and then I mix in some oat milk and some ice, a little bit of stevia and it is the perfect summertime treat.
