I am in the process of going through my most toxic breakup, okay? And look, don't say I'm dramatic because my real soda drinkers know it. Soda is hard to kick. But I'm looking for less sugar-filled alternatives and that's where I found Brain Pop. Mango Coolatta definitely called to me because I like anything mango and I love it being coolatta. Plus it has all these benefits that I was looking at. I'm like, okay, good way to get caffeine in too because that's what I really want in soda and it only has eight grams of sugar, which is really impressive because if you look at this mini soda, there's 26 grams of sugar. But now let's get to the part you're all waiting for, the taste test. And you know what? I took a few baby sips at first. I'm a little cautious when you drink, so I'm very picky. I wasn't really getting an intense flavor and usually with drinks like this I get like a weird aftertaste, like the low sugar kind. I was getting none of that, but I felt safe after a couple baby sips. I was like, okay, let's take a big gulp and see what we're getting. I don't think that the mango flavor is really pronounced or any of the flavors are really pronounced, but I kind of like that. It just has like a calm flavor, a little fizz. I would say this is a really, really good option if you're looking for a lower sugar alternative. There's no funky aftertaste and you're still getting that nice dose of caffeine.
