I recently got the Shantakai Rose to My Cream and this is supposed to help you hydrate and soothe your skin. It's made with 86% natural ingredients and the first ingredient it has is rose flower water. It smells literally like roses. The cream gets absorbed into the skin so quickly and it leaves this really smooth finish.

Okay, marketing works on me. When I started reading up on this, it said that it would leave a cocoon of hydration on the skin. And I was like, ooh, what does that feel like? So of course I got it. I'm here to report back. I have dry skin. I'm 50 years old. It's kind of hard to find a moisturizer because a gel moisturizer isn't enough for me and a thick moisturizer in the summertime when it's 110 degrees in Texas, way too much. This was perfect. It feels very light going on, but it is super hydrating. It in fact did leave a cocoon of hydration on my skin. I love it.

So I'm going to try this on my hand a little bit. It's going to be my first time using it. It's a little bit tough to get it out of the pump right away.

If you have combination skin like me, it's going to help balance the oils on your t-zone while moisturizing the dry areas of your face. I tend to switch it up according to season, so now that the warmer months are coming, this is going to be great because it's not going to be heavy. It's lightweight. Your skin can breathe. It has a nice botanical smell. It's actually very pleasant. It's not overwhelming. It's not too flowery or anything like that. If you have dry skin, this is definitely not for you because it's too light and it's almost too warm. The consistency is very liquidy, as you can see. This is nice, gentle on the skin, and I think you'll like it.
