Welcome to Emerald Cave This b e g i n n e r -friendly kayak trip to this incredible cove of emerald green water is only an hour from Las Vegas making it a perfect day trip from the Strip You can book a tour from Vegas or if you have your own kayak or a rental you can go without a guide Going on a tour takes the g u e s s -work out of it but if you re an experienced kayaker going without a tour can result in a more serene experience We took a tour and yes we shared the experience with others both our tour group and numerous other groups We had to wait in a line to get into the Emerald Cave but while we waited we were able to explore some other spots like the historic water gauge station
