SarahTravel #Clips💦It’s the sea cave for us! 🛥️This boat tour of the Na Pali coast was the very first thing we did in Kaua’i and it was the perfect introduction to the island! Sailing beneath 4,000 feet tall cliffs, past waterfalls and sea caves is one of the best ways to see the dramatic coastline for which Kaua’i is so famous. 🐬We also saw dolphins and got to snorkel during the trip! The highlight for us though was when we got to go into a sea cave that emerged in a small open air bowl. This was also where a scene in Hook (with Robin Williams) was filmed! We booked our tour with @captainjsnapali on @viator using @chasesapphire points, which made it free 🙌 #kauaihawaii #napalicoast #hawaiitrip #visithawaii #hawaiiadventures

SarahTravel #ClipsThe American work week is a trap This week I spoke to a woman who will be retired at 5p today and who said she and her husband haven t taken a vacation in 30 years Did that make your stomach turn It did mine When I graduated college my uncle congratulated me and followed it up with Now you re going to work the next 40 years until you retire And even though I d always known this was the normal course of life that realization terrified me and inspired me to start plotting a different course 5 years later Tim and I each saved up enough money from our h i g h -pressure and f a s t -paced software jobs to quit the company and spend a year traveling the world to all 7 continents This was 10 years ago now!

SarahTravel #ClipsWelcome to Emerald Cave This b e g i n n e r -friendly kayak trip to this incredible cove of emerald green water is only an hour from Las Vegas making it a perfect day trip from the Strip You can book a tour from Vegas or if you have your own kayak or a rental you can go without a guide Going on a tour takes the g u e s s -work out of it but if you re an experienced kayaker going without a tour can result in a more serene experience We took a tour and yes we shared the experience with others both our tour group and numerous other groups We had to wait in a line to get into the Emerald Cave but while we waited we were able to explore some other spots like the historic water gauge station
