I made a video on this like two years ago atter my shower before my son was born because I received so many things that I did not put on my registry that there was no way that I was gonna use. I got so much hate on that video because "I should just be appreciative for what l received" and while I was... I also felt so bad for people wasting their money on products that I was never gonna use. The amount of hours that I put into researching mattresses that weren't filled with toxins and chemicals and towels and clothing and baby wash and glass bottles over plastic bottles... There is so much time that new mothers put into their registries for a reason and if you're going to buy something, that's not on the registry the least that you can do is give a receipt.
