EPO9's mission is to develop a sunscreen that is completely harmless to the marine environment whilst offering full broad spectrum protection. Too many formula manufacturers lie about “reef friendly” ingredients and we really hated having to wear pasty mineral sunscreens that were hard to rub in. So, we did something about it. We have created a game-changing mineral formula. We spent more than four years in R&D perfecting a zinc oxide formula that applies easily and does not leave that horrible chalky white reside you get with some other mineral sunscreens. Naturally, our sunscreen formula offers broad spectrum protection (SPF 35), is water resistant, and is made with responsibly sourced organic ingredients and free from parabens and other harmful chemicals. The formula is made locally in Van Nuys, CA in a plant powered entirely by solar energy and our tube packaging is made from plants. (They’re 100% recyclable!)
