I recently bought Hexclad's hybrid pan and I wanted to give one of their knives a try. This knife is sharp, sturdy, and of great quality. If you've been thinking of getting a new knife, I'd definitely recommend this one.

Not only did we get a note from Gordon Ramsey himself, but the Damascus steel is made by layering 67 different metal alloys and forging them into a single blade. And this beautiful pack of wood handle is crafted with genuine hardwood and a composite resin, which is super comfortable to hold and moisture resistant. And something I always do with my new knives is the paper test. Like butter. Now let's give this knife a couple more tests. Let's see how thin we can cut this tomato and how easily I can slice up this watermelon. Way too smooth. Now I just need the rest of the knives in this set. I have been struggling with this bread knife for years. It's so old it doesn't even have the brand name on it anymore because it's worn off and it just mutilates my bread. When I got this new bread knife in, oh my gosh, it slides through like butter. I am obsessed with this. If you bake homemade bread, this knife is an absolute essential. It's a splurge, but it's totally worth it.
