Today I'm doing a first impression of Hue Noir's Perfect Pout Hydrating Lipstick in the shade A Rage in Raisin. This lipstick was quite a bit darker than I was expecting from the marketing pictures and unfortunately went on my lips pretty patchy. Uh, definitely not my favorite shade. I'll try to figure out a use for it in the future, but it's just not for me.

Unfortunately I did find the marketing picture to be a little bit deceptive as it looked like a deep metallic red and this is definitely not a metallic lipstick. The color is more of a fire engine red and it is really pretty, just keep in mind it's definitely not a metallic lipstick so if that's what you're looking for, this is not for you.
