Our story is simple: One co-founder grew up with skin issues. The other built products for the world's most prestigious brands. Together, we built Huron to offer world-class products at down-to-earth prices. All of our products are made with science-backed, clean ingredients, and are 100% vegan and Certified Cruelty-Free. We're here to help you help yourself. How it all started: Co-Founder and CEO Matt Mullenax’s adolescent athlete skin struggles inspired him to take a hard look in the mirror (literally) and ultimately conceptualize a path for better personal care. His plight was the driving force behind building an accessible, premium-yet-approachable brand for men. Mullenax teamed up with Huron Co-Founder and Matt no. 2, Matt Teri. As a trusted leader in the beauty industry, Matt T, Co-Founder and CDO, cut his teeth at some of the world’s top skincare brands, including The Estee Lauder Companies, Tom Ford Beauty and Lab Series Skincare for Men. He’s spent decades researching and understanding men’s personal care needs and innovating award-winning products that work. Together, the two Matt’s share a passion for the consumer first model. On July 29th, 2019 (at 10:42 a.m. EST, but who’s counting) Huron was launched-with a mission to provide 100% vegan, clean, science-backed Face, Hair and Body products for healthier skin and better self-care.
