It balances out the smells or, you know, the pH that can be in your body that gives that kind of thing. I have also, because my sweat glands still with deodorant, just still smell. And I used it on my underarms the other day. After I washed them regularly, I put this on it and it totally neutralizes any of the smell down there that's left after cleaning and bathing.
