I have vivid memories of my Lebanese mother, Najeau, sitting in the sun with her hair wrapped. She and generations of women before her would mix oils from the earth with egg whites to create a weekly mask for their scalps.

Now I’ve spent over 15 years in the hair industry. When I had children and suffered from my own postpartum hair loss, I wanted to find the very best answers.

The more I learned and the more specialists I saw, procedures I paid for and products I tried, I finally understood what my mom had been telling me my entire life—that the skin on our face doesn’t stop at the hairline. It's amazing. I'm sold. I want everything now. This is the hair mask from Nageau. There's also a scalp mask, follicle drops, shampoo and conditioner, and after trying this I want everything. This is a pre-shampoo treatment and I did it yesterday. According to the box, you're going to mix it with half a banana or half a cup of mayonnaise and then you put it on your hair, let it sit for 30 minutes and then shampoo, condition, and style as usual. Now, I didn't have a banana or mayonnaise and I was just really eager to try it so I just wet my hair and I put it in my hair. I definitely will put some other kind of carrier on it next time. Even just the oil, like this is amazing. So I got my hair wet. I did it in sections. Just like oil on my hair and then I didn't even get to leave it on for the full 30 minutes. Shampooed it, conditioned, styled as usual, and my hair is looking so glossy and good but not heavy. Just nourished. I mean, look at it. I slept on this hair. It's so good. You should definitely follow them on Instagram because then you'll get some insight on the very personal backstory to this product.

I have a very interesting hair mask here, and although it looks like a standard oil, there's actually a very interesting way on how to use this. So what you're gonna wanna do is take three to four tablespoons of this oil and add it to either a mashed banana or some mayonnaise. Both are natural ingredients that I feel are well-known in the hair community to promote healthier and shiny hair. The purpose of this product is to really enable both of those things as well, so it's there to promote healthier hair, stronger hair, and overall shinier hair, so stay tuned for a demo. I am so excited to give this a try.

My hair has been growing like crazy since I started using Nageau products. I have been very much looking forward to using the scalp mask every week, and even though I got to try this product for free, it is now solidly a staple in my weekly routine. I look forward to it every week. I've been putting oil on my scalp and hair, you know, every couple weeks for years. The other oil is always like really sticky. This stuff is perfect, perfect, perfect. The smell is perfect, the texture is perfect. The formula is really great, and while I'm at it, I also use the hair mask because, you know, we're here, we're doing it, and I will leave them on both for about 30 minutes to an hour. I'll be honest, sometimes longer because I really love how it smells. This is what my hair looked like after washing with the Nageau shampoo and conditioner and then styling it, blowing it out, and it just looks so healthy. I'm so happy. I love it. It looks so good. This is how I keep my hair growing healthy, strong, and shiny. I'm going to use a nasal oil for this routine. It's a scalp oil and I'm going to add avocados to it. You can add egg whites if you want or you could use the oil on its own. Make sure you rub it into your scalp, massage it in there. If you have a scalp massager, use that. Then I use a shower cap over it. I use two so that way it gets really heated in there. Leave it in for 60 minutes. Then wash it out completely. Make sure it's squeaky clean and then I put my hair in braids and went to sleep. The next day I opened up the braids. I love this protective hairstyle. It leaves my hair so shiny and beautiful.

Let me teach you how to use the nozzle massager. Massaging the scalp is all about moving the skin of your scalp to break up scar tissue, bring fresh oxygenated blood back up to your follicles and encourage microcirculation, and to increase relaxation. So never rough up your hair with the follicles or your scalp. It's just about moving. See how my skin moves? The difference between the massager and the gua sha, the gua sha glides up your scalp. The massager moves the skin of your scalp.

Our Najo massager. How do you use a massager? You're not rubbing your hair back and forth and disrupting the follicles or getting it all tangled. You are placing it on your scalp and you're moving your scalp. You can use this on dry or wet hair. You can use it in the shower. And the purpose of the massager while you move your scalp is to stimulate blood flow back up to your follicles and your scalp, but also it helps to break up scar tissue to allow all the blood to flow through your scalp. It also helps with the shampoo. I like it in the shower. Enjoy.

Okay, if you don't use a scalp massager when you wash your hair, now is the time to start. I just got this guy in the mail. I've been using this one and one thing that I don't like about it is that this comes apart super easy and my kids are always breaking it apart in the shower. This is one by, I believe the brand's called Nigeaux and I haven't even used it yet, but I can tell just by like how it's designed that I'm going to be obsessed. I'll make a video, a follow up with exactly how it works when I do my oil treatments and shampoo. You guys, I'm so stoked on this. I just had to get on here and leave a quick review.
