and now we're moving on to review two which is the pacifica clean shot vegan amino acid 10 complex for dehydration and stressors. i've also done a review on another pacifica serum it's their hyaluronic acid and i really really liked it. this one however i think i'm just not really 100% sure what it does. like when it says dehydration and stressors i'm not like i'm not getting a hydrated feel it's very very perfumey like even when i smell it it's it just has kind of like a lavender bathroomy smell which i don't love and also i think maybe the amino acid complex was a bit stronger than my skin wanted it to be so it just would get red and i don't know like what does stressors mean i just i feel like i wanted this to have a more like clear purpose in my skincare routine so i think this is a pass for me

My skin has been so problematic this summer. It's been really dry and dehydrated and flaky, but at the same time, I've been breaking out a lot. Those two things combined are usually a sign of a compromised skin barrier. I have been using this cream for the past couple weeks and I really feel like it has saved my skin. I'm no longer breaking out. My skin is not dehydrated. It's not flaky anymore. Its key ingredients are ceramides and ceramides are the lipids or fats in your skin cells and they make up 30 to 40% of your skin barrier. And what they do is they help keep moisture in your skin while keeping bacteria out of your skin. So what I've been doing is I've been using a hyaluronic acid serum and then this on top. And then occasionally I will also add a couple drops of a face oil and my skin has made a miraculous recovery. I would easily say this is now in my top five favorite drugstore moisturizers. It can work for any skin type. I strongly recommend this. I love this product.

It will improve your cell turnover overnight and I had a pimple that was like Really deep in my skin and when I tell you I woke up the next morning and that pimple was ready to pop I just knew this product worked because the cell turnover was really really effective. I've been loving Pacifica's skin products and Wake Up Beautiful Retinol is no exception. I've used another retinol by Pacifica and this one is just a little gentler for everyday use. I can use this while I'm exfoliating as well and you just wake up really glowy. My pores are minimized. I feel like I just wake up kind of shiny and clear and really bouncy. So I definitely recommend to anyone.
