I was sent by Flip this Pacifica Dreamy Youth Cream. This is my first time testing out this brand and I really like the packaging. It's in glass and it's vegan and cruelty free. It doesn't have a lot of fragrance which is really good for your skin. You're supposed to apply it after cleaning your skin before bed. Now because my skin is still recovering from retinol used from the other products from the box, I'll be trying this out next week.

So, I am an avid user of tretinoin that is prescribed by my dermatologist. I've been on tretinoin for about a year and it's pretty harsh on your skin, so a really good moisturizer is super important. And I've been trying this Pacifica Dreamy Youth Super Peptide Cream and honestly, I am pretty impressed. The one thing I don't love about this is the intense fragrance, but it does do the job when it comes to moisturizing my skin and I love it.

My skin has been so problematic this summer. It's been really dry and dehydrated and flaky, but at the same time, I've been breaking out a lot. Those two things combined are usually a sign of a compromised skin barrier. I have been using this cream for the past couple weeks and I really feel like it has saved my skin. I'm no longer breaking out. My skin is not dehydrated. It's not flaky anymore. Its key ingredients are ceramides and ceramides are the lipids or fats in your skin cells and they make up 30 to 40% of your skin barrier. And what they do is they help keep moisture in your skin while keeping bacteria out of your skin. So what I've been doing is I've been using a hyaluronic acid serum and then this on top. And then occasionally I will also add a couple drops of a face oil and my skin has made a miraculous recovery. I would easily say this is now in my top five favorite drugstore moisturizers. It can work for any skin type. I strongly recommend this. I love this product.

It will improve your cell turnover overnight and I had a pimple that was like Really deep in my skin and when I tell you I woke up the next morning and that pimple was ready to pop I just knew this product worked because the cell turnover was really really effective. I've been loving Pacifica's skin products and Wake Up Beautiful Retinol is no exception. I've used another retinol by Pacifica and this one is just a little gentler for everyday use. I can use this while I'm exfoliating as well and you just wake up really glowy. My pores are minimized. I feel like I just wake up kind of shiny and clear and really bouncy. So I definitely recommend to anyone.
