We are an accessible wellness beauty brand that creates innovative, high-performance products leading with natural ingredients & compassion for the planet, animals and you.

When I started Pacifica 25 years ago, it wasn’t because I was like: there aren’t any brands that work for me. It was that I was not seeing brands that aligned with my values AND were effective at the same time. I thought my goal was a simple one: create products using natural ingredients that were vegan and minimized the use of petrochemicals. It turns out this is actually really hard, especially before suppliers caught up to consumers. I had to learn a lot about sustainability, naturals, our dependance on industrial farming and the petrochemical industry. I’m proud to say 25 years later that we’ve stayed firm on our mission of leading with compassion for the planet, animals and you – always being cruelty-free & vegan, continuing to challenge ourselves and the beauty industry on sustainable packaging, developing with clean, naturally-derived and effective ingredients, and having a positive impact (social justice, etc…)

Did you know that SPF setting spray exists? It's affordable too. SPF 45 setting spray. There's vitamin C in it too. And sea minerals? I don't care about that. This is a lifesaver because you're supposed to reapply your SPF every 90 minutes or so. I'm not doing that if I spent an hour doing my makeup. Throw this in your purse, spritz it on, you're good to go for another hour 45. Also just spritz this on even if I'm not wearing makeup because I hate regular sunscreen. I like it to be clear and lightweight. This is amazing.

This is a setting spray from Pacifica, but it's also an SPF 45. It claims to be matte and sheer. If I can apply this SPF over my makeup, set it, and it has a matte finish, it'll be unlike any other setting spray I've ever used. Let's put it to the test. The mist is super fine, which is nice, and it distributes very evenly. It turns out it does dry down matte, and it doesn't compromise the glow of my makeup or dehydrate my skin.

Pacifica's SPF 45 set and protect matte sheer setting mist has vitamin C in it, C minerals, and it provides SPF protection for UVA and UVB up to 45. It's 100% vegan and cruelty free and it smells like a light citrus or coconut. It's half the price of Supergoop and it provides blue light protection for a foolproof look. All the package is recyclable and sustainable and I will keep this one on hand for all my sunny days. Pacifica.

One of the standout features of this setting mist is its super fine mist, which ensures an even distribution. Liz found that it dried down matte without compromising the natural glow of her makeup. This is a significant advantage as it allows for a long-lasting, flawless look.
