My skin has been so problematic this summer. It's been really dry and dehydrated and flaky, but at the same time, I've been breaking out a lot. Those two things combined are usually a sign of a compromised skin barrier. I have been using this cream for the past couple weeks and I really feel like it has saved my skin. I'm no longer breaking out. My skin is not dehydrated. It's not flaky anymore. Its key ingredients are ceramides and ceramides are the lipids or fats in your skin cells and they make up 30 to 40% of your skin barrier. And what they do is they help keep moisture in your skin while keeping bacteria out of your skin. So what I've been doing is I've been using a hyaluronic acid serum and then this on top. And then occasionally I will also add a couple drops of a face oil and my skin has made a miraculous recovery. I would easily say this is now in my top five favorite drugstore moisturizers. It can work for any skin type. I strongly recommend this. I love this product.

It's a pretty unproblematic brand as far as I know. However, they really lean in a lot of times to really beachy, kind of reminds me of like high school popular girls smells. I don't totally relate to that. Again, this doesn't smell like anything, but it does give off kind of a juvenile vibe. I'm sorry. So that's just like a personal thing where I'm like, this is fine.
