AlexisVisual Arts #ClipsCute crafts at home Paint the frame the color of your choice I used an exacto knife to cut out red and orange leaves from construction paper with the pattern I cut out previously for the candle holder Add a dab of glue and place them as you like If you want them to stay permanently i would suggest hot glue #crafting #fall #easycrafts

AlexisVisual Arts #ClipsGift of scent Don't pour the wax how i did 🤣 just have a designated plastic knife to cut up pieces and add to the mold then microwave for 10 sec intervals After finishing the candle with the lid i cleaned it out I folded the purple construction paper into zigzags And added as a cushion so the wax melts don't break apart and looks more elegant Gives the lovely scent of Lavender and can act as a decoration #Lavender #crafts #happyholidays #gifting

AlexisHome & Garden #ClipsTry growing Lavender What did I learn: 1.Don't reuse dirt in a planter if you haven't been tending to it for a long time ( month in my case) 2.I'm putting in a water dispenser (aka water bottle) 3.Old seeds that haven't sprouted can still come back from the dead months later I've been leaving it out at night for fresh air and giving them 6 hours of the plant bulb. It's getting colder so I'll leave it outside during the day and bring it in at night and give it bulb light then. I'm planting the two seeds very far apart but not at least a few inches away from the ends and planting a cut open water bottle with a hole in the lid at least early on in the growth period. #Homegardening #greenthumb #lavender

AlexisVisual Arts #ClipsCute Crafts at Home clean out used candle holder(don't worry it's not all gonna come off) I Used an exacto knife to cut out my leaf shape Tape it down and use red or orange acrylic to paint within the shape Let air dry for at least an hour then place either a real tealight candle or led For extra protection if it will be handled a lot i would suggest a layer of modge podge followed with a clear acrylic sealer if it has a tacky texture
