Series: Who Am I… a Community Advocate. The South Carolina Stay Plus Program was a federal-funded program that provided rental, utility and mortgage assistance to SC households who were negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2021 to 2023, I was the Project Director for a wonderful Consulting Agency, Viriya Consulting. I was able to manage a Team of 25 employees who were the Boots on the Ground Team for this project across the state of South Carolina. We were literally the “BOOTS ON THW GROUND!” The program closed in July 2023.
