There is a lot of contradictory information out there about what consistency is best when you are brand new to royal icing and sugar cookies. Even on my page I go through different phases of my decorating life where I prefer a thinner consistency over a thicker one but there are absolutely pros and cons to both and I am learning every single day that I make more custom sugar cookies for my clients! if you are a cookie artist yourself or somebody who has made custom sugar cookies in the past let me know what your preferred flood consistency is in the comments!

Marshmallow Fondant! Super yummy and even a fun activity to do with your kiddos! I used 120g of mini marshmallows 2 teaspoons of water 200g of powdered sugar (I didn’t need all of it though, you could get away with probably 100g) You don’t necessarily need to measure. You could just melt the marshmallows and add powdered sugar. Any time it gets sticky as you are working with it, just add some powdered sugar. You can color this and decorate so many things with it! Here is the marshmallow recipe 1 2 cup water 2 3 cup light corn syrup 2 cups granulated sugar Add the above ingredients to a saucepan and turn on medium heat add your candy thermometer It needs to reach 240 degrees f Add 1 2 cup cold water to your stand mixer bowl and sprinkle 3 0 25 ounce packets of unflavored gelatin Let this bloom while your sugar mixture comes to temperature Prep a pan of choice with parchment paper with n o n -stick spray Thick marshmallows loaf pan thinner marshmallows 8x8 pan Once your mixture reaches 240 degrees turn your mixer on low and dump the hot syrup into the mixer Turn your mixer to high and whip for 1 0 -12 minutes It will be thick white and fluffy After this add your vanilla until incorporated Dump your mixture into your pan…
