What it is?

Proper By Design’s modern and minimalist Pour Over Companion gives you a place for your Chemex (or other Pour Over Coffee Maker of choice) to call home AND keeps your filters organized and out of sight - but right at hand!

The base is made of pressure-molded 100% sustainable cork (no plastics or silicones are used), designed to withstand the weight of a Chemex full of coffee. The cork is lightly sealed to provide additional protection against water damage and gives the cork a lovely finish similar to rich leather . A Chemex of any size (the largest 10-cup pictured) sits comfortably on top of the indented Companion. The indent is thoughtfully placed, designed to ensure your pour over coffee maker doesn't slide out of place, protecting it from bumping into anything that may be next to it. The Companion does all this while minimizing both it's countertop space (less than 0.4 sq. ft!) and it's vertical real estate (less than 2.25" tall).

Key Benefits

The solid, powder coated steel drawer is tolerant for everyday use, is easy to clean, and most importantly, holds your coffee filter of choice nearby without the visual clutter a mass of coffee filters can create. Fits Chemex folded square filters , Chemex folder circle filters, Hario V60 03 02 and 01 filters, and Melitta #2 and #4 filters.

Finally, a proper home for your favorite pour over coffee maker.
