As a former actress, I spent hours under heavy makeup and bright lights and my skin paid the price. The quest to restore my complexion and confidence lead me to rediscover my grandmother’s Asian beauty secrets, which healed my skin and inspired me to bring her rituals to women everywhere. purlisse is a culmination of Asian wisdom and modern philosophy. We partner with the best chemists and research labs in Korea, France, America and beyond to deliver a results-driven skincare collection. We are reinventing time-honored wisdom into high-performing, multi-tasking and skin-loving modern essentials. Growing up Chinese-American in Alabama, I never felt comfortable being me. While trying to fit in, I didn’t appreciate the beauty of my culture and the benefits of being different. When I re-embraced my heritage, I found a real purpose - to help give women a reason to believe in her own beauty.
