Global Accessibility Our goal is to make better cycle care available for women everywhere. Rael is currently available in 19 countries worldwide and growing. In 2017, Rael was founded by three women originally from South Korea: Aness An, a journalist and best-selling author; Binna Won, an architect-turned-art-director; and Yanghee Paik, a former movie distributor at The Walt Disney Studios with a Harvard MBA. Frustrated by the lack of clean, effective period care in the U.S., the trio set out to create their own solution by marrying organic cotton from Texas and cutting-edge manufacturing technology in Korea.
