So I am getting ready and using Perfect Canvas Clean Primer from REN skincare. And I am going to do my makeup and see if this helps give me a smooth finish to my makeup. So I love the end result of my makeup. I like the way this seeped into my skin. It also didn't crumble with my concealer foundation that I used. Which I really appreciate. I will definitely be incorporating this when I wear makeup and even when I don't.

This primer absolutely surprised me in the best way. So I usually don't like primers because they're sticky and full of silicones, which this one's silicone free, so it already got me excited. But it applies like a dry oil, which again, was very scared of because I didn't want my face looking greasy. But it completely dries like water. It looked like there was nothing on my skin. It just felt really soft and hydrated and primed for makeup. My makeup stayed on longer. And the best part is you don't even have to put on makeup afterwards. You can just wear it alone.

This is their Perfect Canvas Clean Primer. It is almost like a serum consistency and it works really well to mattify the skin. It's a great barrier between your skincare and your makeup. And for me, it made my makeup last all day.

I just emptied this primer from RENSKIN CARE and I really, really enjoyed it. It lasted me a long time. I just used a couple drops under my makeup and it never pilled and definitely, like, I noticed a difference in the way that my makeup looked at the end of the day. It didn't crease as much under my eyes and stuff like that. So I really recommend this. I haven't had much luck with other primers, but this one actually made a noticeable difference for me. And I have super oily skin, so that's impressive.

Hello everyone, today we're looking at the Perfect Canvas Clean Primer by REN. I'm using this for the first time today so I'm excited to see how it goes. The first thing I noticed about this was that it's so liquidy. It applies like a serum and it pretty much looks like one too. It does recommend that you apply your moisturizer and SPF regularly before you start doing your makeup so if you're one of those people that typically skips that, I would because it doesn't provide much moisture into your skin. The one thing that I did notice about this primer was that I had to reapply my setting spray, not my setting spray, my setting powder a lot more throughout the day so that I could keep down all of my makeup but that is the only thing I noticed. I think that it doesn't have as much stick and it really does truly just give you a clean face, but I still love it.

So I'm super pleased with this face primer by REN. It's super lightweight, goes on smooth like there's nothing on, makes your skin feel really soft and bright, and gives your face a nice canvas and base for your makeup. A little bit goes a long way so I recommend about three drops for your entire face.

So that's what I'm going to do. It kind of smells like chlorine low key but nothing like intense. I have normal to oily skin so my nose gets pretty oily throughout the day but the majority of my face isn't. Oddly enough I feel like the side with the primer does feel softer. So here I am back with a full face after that primer. My products went on the same way. I can't say that I had any difference on the primer side versus not. But do you guys see any difference? I can't say that I do. Oh actually now up close I feel like this side looks a little bit more smooth than here. Am I tripping? What do you think?

Hello, today we are testing out the REN Perfect Canvas. This is a clean primer that has no silicone in it so that is a great thing. The applicator is a little bit different than other primers that I've tested in the past. This actually has a dropper and what it asks for you to do, the directions, is to drop a few or get a few drops in your fingertips, massage and hmm and then just... So I've already applied makeup and as you can see it looks great so it seems like that primer is really good. What do you guys think?

However, I really dislike the sticky texture as evidenced by the fact that my bottle is still up to here. I think if you're going for a dewy look, the Rare Beauty Illuminating Primer is a better option and if you want something long lasting, you can go for the Tatcha Soak Canvas. I could see this really working for someone who maybe has more even drier skin than me, but I already have quite dry skin to the point where it gets flaky in wintertime. So for me, this one's going to be a pass.
