What it is?
Smooth and sweet, our Sencha Fukamushi Superior is our only variety to grow in full sunlight, which gives the tea a fresh, balanced flavor. After only 5 to 7 days in the shade, the Sencha Fukamushi Superior leaves are uncovered. This exposure to the sun deepens the flavor profile of the tea and increases nutrients like catechin, a natural antioxidant that can help reduce formation of free radicals. Our Sencha is grown in the birthplace of its inventor, Nagatani, who lived for 98 years, thanks to his tea.
