I do use vegan low-talk silicone free products on her hair, which unfortunately does mean it gets more tangly because it's not covered in artificial ingredients and heavy silicones. After spraying a detangler, we always start from the bottom of her hair and work our way up. This process in its entirety took us about three minutes, and we also always brush it until her hair is a hundred percent smooth. This Tangle Teaser brush is designed to dry style the hair but honestly it looked perfect for styling my wet curls. You can see it gives a little bit of tension and forms the curl beautifully. I do prefer a longer handle but overall this brush did a great job. Glides through the hair very easily, no pulling or tugging. It's a pretty great brush.
