You don't damage it, especially when you're going to use heat on it. And then, my hair is always so crazy, the wax. This is magical. I've been looking for one of these to use and I finally found this one. This one's perfect. It's not gooey like other ones are. I've been using it on my daughter as well. You just apply it really fast. You can rub the whole stick on, you can put it on your fingers and it just feels so great and it works like magic.
