I love the Born This Way foundation. It is full coverage and it blends so easily. This one was a perfect match for my skin, as you can see. The finished look looks perfectly airbrushed.

I got this for free in my slipbox. It's the Born This Way foundation. It's not my color, obviously, because it's wintertime right now in Florida. But it's my summer shade. So I'm just going to blend it on my hand. It's perfect. Like, I love this foundation. It's better for smoother skin, which I have been using my 5-Step Glow Recipe stuff for to achieve my perfect skin at this time. So I'm going to order this in my correct shade so that I can have flawless skin and flawless base, okay? Born This Way is all the hype it's about, okay?

Let's review the Born This Way Matte from Too Faced. So something that caught my eye is that it's matte, and I wanted to see if that was true because I feel like my skin is really oily. Some of the key elements about this product is that it's oil-free, oil-controlling, waterproof, and transfer-resistant. Oh, wow. I think this one is a perfect match. So I usually like to choose a tone that is a little bit darker than my actual skin just to have a little bit of color, and I love the way this foundation looks on my skin. I love the way it feels. It's not super dry. I feel like it still lets my skin breathe. It doesn't smell like anything. I don't like foundations that have a smell. And look how my skin looks. I love it.

Alright so concealer on, we're fine. This, I'm actually shaking it because it separated a little, the Born This Way concealer in vanilla. This has 24 hour undetectable long-lasting wear foundation. I hope it makes that look fine because I am almost 30 and get acne frequently. I have my little squishy puff which I also got off of the app. This color suits me kind of all year long. I like adding a little bit more bronzer during the summertime and winter. I just kind of do it right there, right there. But the color I think is pretty even. You can still see the texture in my skin but I guess that's just what we're dealing with today. Here we go, got an even base, gonna add some blush and call it a day.

It's oil controlling, waterproof, and transfer resistant. The shade I got is definitely a bit too dark, gonna try it out anyway. It's not exactly a matte finish, but the coverage is great. Here's the finished look.

Okay so I think I may have found my new favorite foundation. It's the Too Faced Born This Way Matte Foundation. I have the concealer in this and I've always loved it so I really wanted to give this a try. Picked up a shade that might be a little bit too dark for me but that's my fault. But the formula is so so good. So I'm just going to go in and put some on really quick just to show you guys. It's super full coverage and I love a full coverage foundation. And also I like that it doesn't dry down too quickly because I know that that happens a lot with other matte foundations. They dry so fast. But this one's really easy to blend because it gives you that little leeway. I'm still a big fan because when you put powder over it doesn't get too dry. That happens sometimes with matte foundations. Overall definitely a yes.

Hey FlipFit, join me as I review the 24 Hour Foundation by Born This Way. I just reviewed the medium to full coverage, so make sure you go to my Flip and check that out, but let's go ahead and dig in. Okay so I've gone ahead and applied about a pea-sized amount. Now we're going to go ahead and bust out my face and see what one layer looks like. Okay so this is after one layer. It definitely is a lot more matte than the medium to full coverage one. I actually kind of like this one better. This is a pretty thin layer though. There is still some acne you can see and my freckles, but let's go in with one more little set and see how that looks. Okay so this is now two layers. You still can see this acne. These are pretty prominent spots. However, I do like how this sits on my face. It feels a lot more matte. I do have pretty oily skin, but it isn't too drying. I personally really like this one better, so I'm going to give this an 8 out of 10.

Since this foundation is waterproof and transfer resistant, it doesn't really work with water-based concealers. Usually I use Hourglass concealers or Illya Beauty or PUR or L'Oreal Enfable Concealer, but they don't work with this foundation. They just leave patch. This foundation doesn't like other concealers. It just doesn't. So if you will apply this foundation all over your face and you will try to cover your zit or some kind of spot with Hourglass concealer or L'Oreal Enfable Concealer, you will put like a little dot and after that you will see a blind spot. Use this foundation with the same brand concealer because they are made for each other.

Let me show you guys This swatch of Born This Way foundation matte in vanilla shade This is how it looks like as you can see it's yellow undertone. This is full coverage foundation. I have the same shade Born This Way foundation in the lighter version. It's like a sheer to medium coverage I think I showed it on flip before it's pretty nice, but I prefer Thicker foundations because I can always make it very very light Or I can build it up if I need So this is the vanilla just in case if you was wondering how it looks like So this is how it looks like yellow undertone Kind of made medium shade. I think I have a little bit of tan, but If I blend it's gonna be exactly like my skin

The first one is their Born This Way Matte Foundation, and as someone with really oily skin, this one was perfect for my skin type. I picked up two of their Born This Way Original Foundations because I couldn't decide which skin tone I was, but this one was medium to full coverage.

And I'm going to be so freaking honest with y'all, I love Born This Way. Like it's literally my heart of grail. I use it all the freaking time. So, just not this color, but let's get into it. Look like it's too light, but whatever. So I like to take a big fluffy brush and pat, pat, pat. Put her pat, pat, pat. It's looking a little off due to the color, but look at the freaking coverage. Like let's be freaking for real. They never fail.
