When I started Pacifica 25 years ago, it wasn’t because I was like: there aren’t any brands that work for me. It was that I was not seeing brands that aligned with my values AND were effective at the same time. I thought my goal was a simple one: create products using natural ingredients that were vegan and minimized the use of petrochemicals. It turns out this is actually really hard, especially before suppliers caught up to consumers. I had to learn a lot about sustainability, naturals, our dependance on industrial farming and the petrochemical industry.
