We started out with cocktails that I’ve forgotten the name of. SanneFood & Drink #Clipsmitziemee.com Birria is a kind of Mexican stew, which is traditionally made with goat meat, but which is also available with beef, chicken or lamb, and birria tacos are, as the name suggests, tacos with the meat from the stew. The broth (consomé) from the stew is served in a bowl on the side, so that you can dip your tacos. Ale told me that in many places in Mexico you are served the birria stew with the meat still in it, so you take out the meat yourself and build your own taco with meat, cilantro and lime. #birriatacos

I found out when The Grandma (Kanary’s mom) invited me for potatoes with palm sugar. The big potatoes are of a species that I was told you can only find in Cambodia and not in the neighboring countries Thailand and Vietnam. They are white inside and not sweet but taste like most potatoes in Denmark, that is, not of much, but they are delicious dipped in palm sugar. #cambodiafood #palmsugar

It’s a fairly manageable hike, and the weather was good, so after stocking up on salty licorice and apple juice, we started walking. The entire hike is packed with one beautiful sight after the other + we took a lot of apple juice/licorice breaks along the way, so the it took us a lot longer than planned to get up there, but what a wonderful time we had. If you’re going to Norway, and it isn’t raining or snowing, you have to visit Preikestolen. Are you into hiking? What’s your favorite hike? #preikestolen #pulpitrock #norway
