What it is?
Ombre, not Hombre
The classic flannel shirt emerged from forests of the Pacific NW only to be adopted by everyone from west coast rappers to Seattle Grunge bands. We’ve reimagined this workwear staple, with 100% Portuguese cotton flannel - why? Because the Portuguese make the best flannel!
Oh, and this isn’t your father’s boring old plaid either - our plaid comes from a 19th-century fashion technique called Ombré, (which BTW is the French word for “shaded.”) This effect comes from blending one shade with another, moving from light to dark. While this plaid is 200 years old, we think it’s right at home in 2022 and beyond.
Featuring a relaxed fit, double breast pockets, and embroidered brand patch on the left arm, this shirt is 100% plant-based and 100% as rugged as it is soft and cozy.
Key Benefits

What else you need to know
Our buttons are made out of Corozo nuts instead of plastic. And, don’t worry – seeds that are picked before they fall aren’t ripe enough for button production, so there’s no deforestation business around here. Every bit of this shirt, from fabric, buttons, labels, and sewing thread is made from plants and will decompose naturally at the end of its useful life.
